A few years ago, I suffered from severe pain on the right side of my face. I didn't know why I suffered, so I visited my regular doctor for an exam. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong, so they recommended that I see a dentist for help. A dentist asked me a few questions about my dental health and examined the right side of my face. After the exam, the dentist revealed that I had an abscess in my jawbone. The infection began in a decayed molar and later spread to my jaw. I didn't even know that I had a cavity in the first place.
